You apparently don't know the difference between a patent and a patent application :|

Read USC 101, 102, 103, 112 and maybe you'll realize why the notification centre patent wasn't granted. And if its not a granted patent, everyone has the right to use it.

at least microsoft doesn't have the same problem as Android, because they had to think by themselves how to make a new smartphone platform... Android looked like blackberry when they thought Blackberry was the King of smartphones, but suddenly iPhone came out, what happened? Android change everything to work the way iPhone did, so, that's copying, and because Android didn't look close enough like an iPhone, Samsung made the rest... with this decision from the judge, Google and Samsung will make a big effort bringing more innovation... to those Android/Samsung's consumers who felt really bad about this, you should be thankful, because those companies you love will give you better products, like Apple is doing since long time ago.

Ahh, but according to Google Patent Search, that patent hasn't been issued yet. It seems to have been filed again though, by the same Google staff. Not that I don't want Google to have the patent, I use and like Android - just that the comic is wrong on that one point. But the essence of Google Now, is patented and has been issued - 13/349,371

lol! those shots are the perfect reason why i am stickign with iOS! do you have to be a designer to see how shit android looks??? LOL !!!

btw did you know that notification center exited in jailbreak iPhones prior to being on stock iOS? do you know that the person how did that jailbrak hack is workingn at apple?

if Apple infridged any company's patent they are free to take them to court and see if they can win a few billions off apples back.

On the other hand here is al the proof you need to see how innovative Adndroid manufacturers are, with samsung leadign them! http://www.scribd.com/doc/102317767/Samsung-Relative-Evaluation-Report-on-S1-iPhone

I have a samsung galaxy tab and an iphone4s. I like android and apple equally. But I find it stupid that fanbois are fighting over this and attacking the other side. As long as I get the products and they provide me what I need, I don't care what other manufacturers do and what other people will buy. Why are people so obsessed with that?

Why does Apple want so badly destroy android and Samsung? Well, "The love of money is the root of all evil..." Why not put your chief competitor's product out of business or at least to make it much more expensive so that you can charge more?
